KM STUDENTS RETURN FROM ITALY TRIP!!! Over spring break, Mrs. Jordan's 8-day culinary immersion trip to Italy was an incredible success, offering students a rich blend of cultural exploration and hands-on learning. From the moment we arrived, students were fully engaged in experiencing Italy through its food, history, and traditions. In Parma, we had the unique opportunity to learn how Parmigiano Reggiano and prosciutto are made, followed by tastings that truly brought the lessons to life. In Modena, students discovered the centuries-old craft of producing authentic balsamic vinegar, gaining a deeper appreciation for its complexity and cultural significance. We also had the chance to explore the Ferrari Museum, where students were excited to see the iconic cars up close and learn about Italy’s legacy of automotive excellence. The journey continued in Bologna, where we explored the city’s rich history and enjoyed a traditional Bolognese dinner, highlighting the region’s renowned cuisine. We also took a memorable day trip to San Marino, giving students the rare experience of visiting one of the world’s smallest countries. In Rimini, students explored the beautiful Adriatic coast, rounding out a diverse and engaging itinerary. Even our long layover in Frankfurt, Germany became an opportunity for learning, as we participated in a guided day tour of the city. Throughout the trip, students and chaperones alike had a wonderful time, expanding their understanding of Italian culture and culinary traditions while enjoying many unforgettable meals together. Stay tuned for an upcoming Capturing KM Video on this incredible experience!!
