ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT OCTOBER 21ST 7PM!!! AP tests have potentially saved KM 9-12 students $1.5M in tuition, based on last year's test-takers! Advanced Placement programming is facilitated by The College Board, a non-profit organization that helps high school students succeed academically by providing courses with college-level rigor and the opportunity to earn college credits. KM strongly encourages our students to challenge themselves by taking AP courses and currently offers 21 AP courses with more under consideration. Subject matter includes art, outreach, computer science, English, math, music, science, and social studies. This event is also a great opportunity for 7th and 8th grade families to learn about pre-AP opportunities and begin thinking about preparing students for high school. KM PERFORM DIRECTOR JOINS SPACE FOR TEACHERS PROGRAM!!! Kevin Erickson has been selected to participate in the Space for Teachers Embedded Teacher Program (ETP). The program offers a rare opportunity for Mr. Erickson to collaborate with his students, aerospace experts, and flight mentors on a research project that he will fly and test in weightlessness aboard the Zero-G parabolic aircraft. This experience connects classroom learning to authentic aerospace research and allows students to see their ideas tested in a true microgravity environment.
