KM EARTH INSTITUTE ICELAND TRIP!!! This summer, Kettle Moraine Earth Institute offered an opportunity for KM students to explore Iceland on an amazing adventure! Students explored the island, learning about the incredible landscape and rich history of Iceland. We walked underneath and then to the top of many waterfalls, climbed on a glacier, explored black sand beaches and walked the shoreline of a glacial lagoon filled with icebergs. We saw whales (Humpback and Minke) along with Puffins and other amazing wildlife. Students toured a geothermal power plant and the lava center where they learned about how the very active volcanic region influences the natural history and economics of the island. We were even able to touch the boundary between two tectonic plates (North America and Eurasian) while hiking in Thingviller National Park.

KMMO WELCOMES NEW HOCKEY COACH!!! The Kettle Moraine-Mukwonago-Oconomowoc (KMMO) Hockey Program is excited to officially announce the hiring of John Brymer as the next Head Coach of KMMO Hockey. Coach Brymer is no stranger to the KMMO family, having previously led the program from 2007 to 2016. During his tenure, he established a tradition of excellence, compiling 112 career victories, capturing three conference championships, advancing to two sectional finals, and guiding KMMO to a state tournament appearance.
Following an extensive search process that included multiple rounds of interviews with several highly qualified candidates, Coach Brymer emerged as the clear choice. Feedback gathered from stakeholders, alumni, parents, and members of the KMMO community consistently reinforced that he possesses the leadership, vision, and values necessary to guide the program into its next chapter.
"Throughout this process, it became evident that Coach Brymer's commitment to student-athletes, passion for the game, and understanding of what it means to represent KMMO align perfectly with the expectations and future goals of our program," said Ryan Tomczyk, Athletic Director.
In addition to welcoming Coach Brymer back behind the bench, KMMO is fortunate to have a highly engaged and supportive Blue Line Club that remains committed to partnering with the coaching staff to provide an outstanding experience for student-athletes and continue building a program that consistently meets and exceeds expectations.
Coach Brymer will officially begin his duties immediately and will begin communicating summer opportunities and offseason programming as preparations begin for the upcoming season.
