CONTEMPORARY DANCE CAPSTONE FUNDRAISER!!! The show will be held in the KMHS Auditorium on Friday, May 17th at 6 pm. Cost $12 per ticket. Ella Mathison of KM Global is using her senior capstone to combine her passion for dance with a desire to help others. She has produced a contemporary dance show called "The Beauty of Mistakes." This production combines many of Ella's beliefs and passions into the pieces you will see, and she is excited to be able to fundraise for LifeStriders in Waukesha. KM GLOBAL STUDENT RAISES MONEY FOR UKRAINE!!
Jack Curty, a competitive fencer at Ataba Fencing Club and KM Global senior, would like to invite you to his Senior Capstone, Fencing for Ukraine. At KM Global, each senior is required to conduct a capstone project which is a student-led community service project that aims to raise money for either a local or global purpose. For Jack's capstone, he decided to use his love of fencing to support the millions of families displaced by the war in Ukraine. All proceeds will go to the charity organization CARE, which sends support directly into Ukraine and neighboring countries in the form of food, medical supplies, humanitarian aid packages and more.
GLOBAL ARTISAN CRAFT FAIR!!! KM Global will be hosting an artisan craft fair at Kettle Moraine High School on Saturday, May 18th! This capstone project is a cornerstone of Global's learning. Students get the opportunity to build a community event to benefit a local organization. 100% of the proceeds from this event (from vendor fees, donations, food truck partnerships, etc.) will be donated to our friends at the Hunger Task Force. HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!!! Several foreign exchange students need host families for the 24/25 school year at KMHS. We have two girls, Freiya, 15, from Germany and Karen, 16, from Chile. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be. With its bouncing score and universal story, this touching musical with plenty of heart will captivate audiences of all ages.

KM SHOWCASE DRAWS LARGE CROWD!! We were thrilled when more than 100 families took time to attend the KM Showcase this year. We will continue to learn from the experience and expand this annual event! Thank you to the presenters for providing over 50 exhibits from all of our KM schools, clubs, teams, and activities. The demonstrations from computer science, Makerspace, robotics, and digital design were really engaging, and the art gallery of student work was impressive. We also want to thank our community partners: Avid Jewelry, Chick-fil-A, Culver's, Dockhounds, Mama Ds, MDs, and Pizza Guy for the generous contributions to our gift bags and prize drawing. Winners were drawn and notified yesterday and we have some very happy recipients!

KM EXPLORE DELIVERS VALENTINES TO KMHS STUDENTS!!!! Explore students made over 1200 Valentines and delivered them to every student, and a lot of staff members, at the high school today. It was really cute watching them get caught up in the act of giving as they shared their creations. The KMHS students appreciated the kind gesture and enjoyed the candy treats.
