KM NEW HEAD GIRLS VOLLEYBALL COACH!!! Coach Shannon Klink brings a wealth of experience, a passion for student-athlete development, and a proven track record of building strong, competitive programs. Her leadership philosophy and commitment to fostering both individual and team success stood out throughout the interview process. Coach Klink spent seven years coaching at Hartford High School, serving as the head varsity coach there for five years. In addition to her high school experience, she has spent the past eight years coaching club volleyball and currently coaches with Milwaukee Juniors Volleyball Club. “Shannon is an outstanding addition to our coaching staff,” said Athletic Director Ryan Tomczyk. “We are incredibly excited to welcome such an amazing leader to Kettle Moraine. Her experience in building programs that emphasize self-determination, resilience, and a strong team culture aligns perfectly with our values.” “I’m excited to further develop the entire KM Volleyball Program,” said Klink. “I look forward to building strong relationships with our student-athletes, families, and community while continuing to grow a program that competes at a high level and represents Kettle Moraine with pride.”

KM NEW HEAD BASEBALL COACH!!! The KM community and athletic department are extremely excited about the energy, enthusiasm, and coaching experience that Coach Matt O'Sullivan brings to our program. “I believe we have found a coach who will build meaningful relationships with our student-athletes, foster a positive and competitive culture, and continue to elevate our program both on and off the field," said Athletic Director, Ryan Tomczyk. "Coach O’Sullivan’s background and passion for the game make him an outstanding fit for KM, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our community." Coach O’Sullivan played baseball at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater from 2017 to 2021. He previously served as the pitching coach at Kettle Moraine High School from 2022 to 2024. He remains actively involved in the game, currently playing in the Land O’ Lakes Men’s Baseball League.

KM ROBOTICS ON WORLD STAGE!!! Two Kettle Moraine Robotics teams are headed to the world stage following outstanding performances at the Wisconsin State FTC Championships. “Laser Tech” (Team 14631) and “Laser Bots” (Team 20293) have both qualified for the FIRST Championship (Worlds) in Houston, Texas, April 29–May 2, 2026. Laser Tech, an eighth-year team made up of two seniors, three juniors, and one sophomore, delivered a dominant showing—finishing undefeated, ranked #1 out of 32 teams, and recording the highest average score across qualification matches. The team also broke the Wisconsin high score multiple times and posted the highest Finals score in North America, now ranked seventh globally out of more than 8,000 teams. Currently sitting #5 in the world, Laser Tech also earned the Innovate Award and secured its first state title since the 2020–21 season. Laser Bots, a fifth-year team, also turned in an impressive performance, reaching the Finals as Alliance Captain for the first time in program history and earning the Design Award for excellence in industrial design.

REGISTER FOR SUMMER ACADEMY NOW!!! Course registration opens at 8am on Monday March 16th. Students will be able to choose four courses per day (with the exception of Moving on to Kindergarten). To accommodate more families and staffing demands we will again run two separate sessions lasting six weeks total. Session one will run June 15-July 24 (no classes 7/3). Students can attend the full six weeks or one session only if preferred. Session two classes will be a repeat of content and activities from session one, unless noted in the course description. We encourage new students interested in "trying" KM and meeting friends to sign up for Summer Academy. Courses are available to open enrollment students for a fee. KMTA PICKLEBALL ALL- ACCESS YEARLY PASS FOR 2026!!! Get ready for another great season of KMTA pickleball with our all-access yearly pass, now at a new lower price! Sign up now at

Your pass provides access to KMTA organized pickleball throughout the spring, summer, and fall and also allows you and your family to use KMTA pickleball equipment whenever the courts are available. Open pickleball will be organized through the GroupMe app, and registered participants will receive an invitation to join in late March or early April. Adult Open Pickleball (ages 14+) will take place in the spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm when there is no home boys tennis match, beginning with a kickoff event on April 21. Summer play will include Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm along with Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 6:30/6:45–8am. Fall sessions return to Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm when there is no home girls tennis match, with the season running through approximately the second week of October, weather dependent. Your pass will also provide rotating lock codes, changed every 10–14 days, so you and your family can access equipment when the courts are not reserved for leagues or rentals. Facility closures will be communicated through GroupMe and the courtside bulletin board. Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2025 second season—the KMTA staff had a great time playing and learning with you. KM COMMUNITY GOLF OUTING!!! The Kettle Moraine School District and the Kettle Moraine Education Foundation, along with presenting sponsor KJN Builders, will host our first annual Community Golf Outing on June 8 at Western Lakes Golf Club. Community members are invited to enjoy a day of golf, great food, prizes, and connection while supporting Kettle Moraine students. All proceeds from the event directly benefit students by helping fund Advanced Placement (AP) study and review materials, curriculum improvements and AP exam fees, and the Kettle Moraine Education Foundation Scholarship Fund. Participants can register to golf or support the event through sponsorship opportunities. The outing features 18 holes in a foursome scramble format, making it accessible for golfers of all experience levels. POWER LIFTERS RAISE THE BAR AT STATE!!! The KM Powerlifting team took first place at the State Competition. LIam Rego and Grace Walczak (both pictured center) both placed First in their respective weight classes at state competition last weekend. Liam squatted 485 lbs, benched 341.7 lbs. and deadlifted 562 lbs. Grace squatted 203.9 lbs, benched 110 lbs. and deadlifted 253.5 lbs. Congratulations!

PERFORM AT WPL FILM FESTIVAL!!! We are excited to announce that the student short film Too Many Anikas won "Best in Teen" at the WPL Film Festival in Watertown last night. This is the 2nd year in a row that our Film Concentration team took home the award for one of their films. The Web was also selected for the festival. Congratulations to the cast and crew for both films!
